Wilhelm Brothers Landscape Management began the landscaping clean up today. It was a mixed feeling with the removal of the mature landscaping from around the buildings. However, it had to be done. Not only for the termite tenting of all three buildings, but the moisture held up against any wood structure from the plants is not a good thing either. We are keeping a 4-foot clearance around the buildings to keep the "uninvited" squatters away.
The trees that were cut down had many mushrooms growing on them. This is a sign of death and those trees had to be removed. I was sad about the pecan trees being cut down because my grandfather made a living selling pecans. I would have loved to keep them! There is still one left in the back of the property, which has been trimmed and doing well.
Now, we are really getting to see what we're dealing with. (Before & After Photos)
